Game Cube bestseller
SONIC THE HEDGEHOG’s nemesis, Shadow, stars in his own game by Sega. SHADOW THE HEDGEHOG for the Game Cube follows the dark character through a twisting storyline as he tries to recover his memories, a quest that can lead him to good or evil. The storyline begins with Shadow losing his memories, turning him from villain to lost soul. Before he can decide who he is, the planet he’s on is invaded by Black Doom and his army of Black Arms. The evil Black Doom knows Shadow, but Shadow isn’t certain if he wants to help enslave a world. With the Black Arms on one side, the G.U.N. Federation on the other, and Dr. Eggman interfering as usual, Shadow is stuck in the middle. It’s up to the player to help Shadow collect the chaos emeralds that will restore his memory. During the game, players will face a number of forces from all three sides. Defeating these forces affects Shadow’s allegiance. If players take out Black Arms soldiers, Shadow slowly joins the forces of good. If, instead, he takes out G.U.N. forces, he will begin to turn evil. Becoming more good or more evil results in new abilities like the chaos control power, which allows Shadow to run through a level at super high speed. In addition to the special good and evil attacks, Shadow can deal damage using
weapons and control vehicles. SHADOW THE HEDGEHOG takes the Sonic series a step forward with its complex storyline and fascinating character.
