Killer 7 for Gamecube
The world of KILLER 7, Capcom’s mature action adventure game for the GameCube, is one of assassins, murder, and suicide bombers. The game follows the squad of assassins sent to eliminate the suicide bomber squad called Heaven Smile and its leader from shattering the global peace and security that has been established in this alternate timeline. Killer 7 is ran by Harman Smith, a frail man in a wheelchair who, it appears, creates the seven members of the squad from his multiple personalities. Each of the seven has his or her own special abilities. Garcian has the ability to restore the other six if they are killed in action, but if he dies, the game is over, and he can only be accessed in certain areas. Kaede, the only female of the group, can zoom in on her targets and, in a macabre twist, slit her own wrists and spray blood on walls to reveal secrets. The list continues, with each character possessing an ability that will be needed as the game progresses. Players are free to switch between any of the characters with the exception of Garcian at any time. Various puzzles are spread throughout the game, providing a break in battling the Heaven Smile minions. Once again, the various special skills of each character will be tested to clear these puzzles. While the game is certainly for a mature audience, action adventure gamers who enjoy a challenge and the disturbing will enjoy KILLER 7.
