Everyone’s second-favorite plumber is the star of this creative outing for the GameCube. Luigi is pleased as punch to learn that he’s the new owner of an old mansion. Things start to head south, however, when Luigi’s big brother, Mario, disappears from the old place. It seems unlikely that Mario has left on his own accord, so you’ll have to help Luigi find big brother before it’s too late. That will mean exploring every nook and cranny of the creepy palace, which quickly turns out to be haunted (gasp, what a surprise)! Using a flashlight and a vacuum cleaner, you’ll try to freeze and capture the ghosts and ghouls before they get you. The action unfolds in stunning 3D, providing an excellent display of the GameCube’s pace-setting graphical capacity. The game is designed by Shigeru Miyamoto, the creator of
such phenomenal classics as DONKEY KONG, SUPER MARIO BROS., and LEGEND OF ZELDA: Ocarina of Time so you know it’s going to be a mind-blower.
