RAVE MASTER: SPECIAL ATTACK FORCE stars Haku who is a young boy placed in a position of having to care for a Rave Stone. He is forced to begin a journey that seems to mirror one that his father had taken years ago. His mission is to locate the Memory of the Stars and carry out his father’s work. This fighting game offers several different battle modes. If pure fighting is what the player wishes to engage in, the Story mode delivers one fighter after another in the way of the hero. At times, more than one enemy will be present for defeat. Once an enemy has become weakened, there is a ‘Tension Gauge’ that flashes and Haku is able to unleash the power of the Rave for a finishing move. Ranking battle offers a new spin on the conventional fighting presented in most games. The player has a specific number of points they are able to spend on characters for the team. Winning battles provides additional points that can enable purchasing more characters. For each character that dies, a new one must be purchased no matter what the outcome of the battle is. If extra points are needed, fighting with a team that is weaker due to a previous battle with the player’s team, they can be battled again for extra points. The journey of Haku is a mission
