A follow-up to the immensely popular WAVE RACE 64 (1996), WAVE RACE: Blue Storm represents one of the very first entries for Nintendo’s 128-bit console. You’ll try to pull off amazing stunts, collect power-ups, and win all of your races, enjoying incredible visual detail throughout your experience. Needless to say, the game showcases some of the best background detail and sound effects ever to grace a console game, and there are plenty of shortcuts and hidden bonuses to uncover throughout. All of the original levels from WAVE RACE 64 are here (revamped, of course), as are a handful of brand-new environments to make your jaw drop. A Story mode challenges you to unlock equipment and territory, advancing your racer through his or her career, while multiplayer options allow four up to four gamers to race at any given time.
